GARLIC POWDER - Frontier Co-op Garlic Powder (Botanical name: Allium sativum L.) is a savory and robust seasoning ground from dried garlic cloves. Garlic is a powerful ingredient, and when in powdered form, it’s even more robust.
VERSATILE USES - Garlic Powder is commonly used on a wide variety of savory dishes for its strong, hot and slightly biting flavor. The penetrating aroma and flavor of garlic powder, which is ground dehydrated garlic bulbs, are familiar in dishes such as pasta, pizza, potatoes and grilled chicken as well as sauces, marinades, and dressings. Garlic powder is also a common ingredient in spice blends.
POTENT FLAVOR - Powdered garlic is much more potent than garlic cloves - a little goes a long way. About 1/8 teaspoon of powdered garlic is the equivalent of a fresh garlic clove.
ORGANIC FROM CHINA - Frontier Co-op Organic Garlic is grown in China through an innovative farmer land-ownership program. We personally meet with growers whenever possible to foster quality botanicals and sound social and environmental practices.
